Islam continues to proclaim that it is a religion of peace.  Throughout its history, one is unable to find a time when there was peace with/within Islam.  Islam has been in a continuous state of warfare/jihad since Mohammad first declared jihad against the unbelievers in Medina.  There can be no peace on earth until all of the earth is controlled by Sharia, the totalitarian Islamic law.

It is not possible for Islam to support the claim of being a peace-loving religion. Islam’s history contains much too much violence, murder, massacre and slaughter.  Entire populations have been eliminated, civilizations destroyed and defenseless people ruthlessly forced into slavery.

Much of what follows was extracted from two books, The Sword of the Prophet by Serge Trifkovic and Islamic Imperialism by Ephraim Karsh.  There are also excerpts from the Koran. 

Both books are a “must read” for anyone concerned about the fate of our great nation and their own future freedoms while here on earth.

For centuries, Islam has touted itself as a religion of peace.  For the western world that sounds just peachy.  An examination of the history of Islam shows a different situation.  The Koran is forever exhorting the followers of Allah, the believers, the Muslims to kill the infidels unless they accept Allah as the only, one true god.  Anyone who declines the invitation to accept Allah and submit to him becomes an enemy of Islam.  It is, therefore, perfectly OK to kill that resister, that infidel, that enemy.  That enemy is you and me.   That is what war is all about: kill or subdue the enemy. 

There are over 200 instances where killing is mandated in the Koran, i.e., being thrown into the burning oil (Hell); the only way to get there is to be dead!!!!!  Surah 5-33: “The recompense for those who wage war against Allah…is only that they shall be killed or crucified…” Surah 33-61 “Accursed, wherever found, they shall be seized and killed with a terrible slaughter.”  Surah 9-5:  Then when the Sacred Months have passed, then kill the Mushrikun (disbelievers) wherever you find them…”

Through these past centuries, in order to accomplish the conquests and subjugation of infidels, there have been massacres, slaughter, obliteration of whole civilizations as well as demolition of churches and destruction of entire population centers. 

In the course of all the above conquering and subjugation, the two referenced sources list a total of approximately 4,800,000 human beings whose lives were summararily terminated, killed in cold blood.  In addition to the killings, vast numbers of people were consigned to live out their lives as slaves.  Most of those consigned to a life of slavery were the women and children of the men who had been slaughtered. 

In Pamplona, Spain in 943, all males were executed, all women and children were enslaved.

In 1066, the Jews of Granada, Spain were butchered and the Christians deported to Morocco.

In India, the Islamic raiders took three days to slaughter the male inhabitants of the port city of Debal and to carry off the women and children as slaves.

Buddhists were slaughtered in 1193 in India.

Shah Jahan, in his Islamic conquest of India, destroyed 76 Hindu temples and Christian churches, and blew up with powder, drowned or burned by fire over 10,000 inhabitants of Agra and Lahore.

The sack of Constantinople occurred in 1204.

“The burning of Smyrna and the massacre and scattering of its 300,000 Christian inhabitants is one of the great crimes of all times.”  This occurred in 1922.

           In 1916, more than 100,000 Maronite Christians were killed in Lebanon and Syria.

The above is but a very short resume of the “peacefulness” of Islam during its reign of a little over 14 centuries.  Contrast that with the number of killings, massacres that have occurred in Christianity for its more than 20 centuries since the birth of Jesus Christ.  There is only one time in the history of Christianity that people were massacred and that was not condoned by the church.  But it did occur and that was during the Crusades.

A painful example of the non-Christian behavior that occurred was the complete massacre of Jews and Muslims (about 50,000 inhabitants) when Jerusalem was liberated during the First Crusade. This was not in keeping with the teachings of Jesus Christ.  Other than the Crusades, there is no other instance where extreme violence was employed to further Christianity. Jesus preached God’s love, not the violence mandated by Allah.

Christianity, without violence, is practiced by about 20% of the world’s population.  This is about the same as for Islam’s believers.   The main point is that Christianity achieved the respect and devotion of one-fifth of the world’s population through peaceful, non-violent means, where as Islam, with total disregard to the value of human life while it is being lived here on earth, acquired the same number of adherents by promoting the questionable benefits of life after death.

Islam has changed its approach for the journey toward conquest.  Instead of relying on overwhelming military power, the thrust now is on less violent means.  These means are less intimidating, but equally as devastating in the long run.  The same goal is achieved, leaving a population that is made to feel subdued that will pay tribute, jizyah, the poll tax for the protection from abuse by Islam. 

Osama bin Laden is reputed to have prophesized that “we will subdue America not by war but by terrorism and fear, but also by demographics, i.e., birthrate, and by immigration.” There is another way that he did not include, but appears to be in effect: that of buying the country. A Saudi Sheik is reputed to have purchased the Chrysler Building for $32 million.  Will it be our nation’s tallest mosque?  And a question:  How many American corporations are totally owned or controlled by Islamic (Read that as “Saudi”) interests?
